The starting might seem daunting, but it’s easier than you think. The key is to create welcoming spaces and opportunities that invite participation, thoughtful collaboration and celebrate contribution and the growth gained. I recently initiated online community group-Wisdom Thrives Global Community, a space to collaborate ideas, thoughful reflections, and exchange knowledge on issues that affect families, communities, and society. While my group is still in its formation, I encourage others to team up for a common cause, interests, or simple gather to socialize.

Here are practical steps to get started:

1. Identify common interests: What topics excite your community? Parenting, Gardening, Technology, Storytelling, or Holistic Wellness? Start with what people care about most and or what is trending in the society we live in.

2. Create inclusive spaces: Choose accessibility, whether online or venues like libraries, parks, or community centers, etc. Make sure everyone feels welcome.

3. Encourage collaboration: Everyone has something to contribute, but also inviting local experts, enthusiasts, or authors to lead sessions can be beneficial. Knowledge sharing encourage participation and brings insights to the discussion.

4. Use varied formats: Depending on the type of the community group, be sure to ulitize different tools and strategies to keep connected and also make a meaningul gain. You can create workshops, form book clubs, discussion groups, and hands-on activities to keep learning purposeful.
